Festive Decorations

With the start of the holy month of Shravan, many festivals will now be celebrated in Indian homes.

For the decorations of the pooja an ‘aaraas’ or backdrop looks pretty and is usually done in advance.

I had posted the dahlia flowers decoration last year for Ganesha festival. Here’s another arrangement from origami flowers in the same colour combination as most Ganesha statues have this colour scheme of yellow, orange and red.
